San Francisco / Napa
Below are pictures that I took when I went to San Francisco and Napa in June. I was heading to Napa for a friend's birthday and I decided to fly out a little earlier so I could hit the coast of San Francisco. It was one of the first times that I really went out and explored by myself, and I learned that traveling alone is one of the least stressful ways to travel. I need to do it more often.
Yosemite National Park
On the 4th of July, I convinced my dad to drive out with me to Yosemite National Park to take advantage of our long weekend. Everyone told me how packed that place would be over a holiday weekend and yes, they were right. It was PACKED with people. Way more than I had imagined. There was one point where we had to wait in a gigantic (hour + long) line just to park to go up to the look out of Half Dome. After I got to experience all of the huge crowds, on the busiest weekend of the year, my advice to anyone would be to GO SEE YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK! It is completely worth it. The views, waterfalls, rock formations, hikes, sunsets, they make everything worth it. It's hard to describe and portray through photos just how spectacular it is. But I'll try.
A Behind the Scenes Look:
Brighton Lakes
Lastly, this summer I grabbed a few of my friends and headed up the mountains to hike the Brighton Lakes. Man, this day was perfect. The clouds made for cool weather and some awesome photos! This is right in your backyard Utah people! Go out and hike it! Although, I wouldn't blame you if you waited until summer.
